iMuscle 2 App Reviews

Great app, as usual !

iMuscle has great graphics, smooth movement when it comes to executing the different moves and routines, but it crashes a lot. And I think you should add routines by default in the app, for those who know nothing about this and want to start working out and trying the app right away. The fact of having to make your own routines and work-outs is good when you know your way around the different work-outs. One can get lost easily between all the dumbells and barbells etc. So yeah, bottom line is : app is great overall, maybe consider adding work-out routines by default and still let the user make his own. Worth 5 starts but only if the crashing comes to an end :)

Crash every 2 minutes

Not a good application yet, not designed for computers, looks like an iPad app. Crash all the time, and not in HD, very bad with a retina display.

no Retina Support, no iCloud support.

the buttons/text and the videos are very blurry on a retina mbp. no iCloud support for Progress and workouts.. i hope that will come .. i bought the app on my iPad, iPhone and now on my mac and have no sync.. sending the workouts is not really a solution :(

Great App, but crashes sometimes.

3D4M is very advanced in there illustrations and animations. But iMuscle 2 on the MacBook crashes to many times.

Phishing / Malware!!!

ATTENTION! This app contains malware / phishing program! Deleted right away! ACHTUNG!!! Diese App enthält Malware / Phishing Programm! Hab sie sofort wieder gelöscht!

Not mac friendly at all!

I purchased this app trying to use it to better understand my muscles, but the image preview for each exercise is just way toooooo small for anyone to see. The only way to actually see it is to add it to the work out and lounch it, which is so inconvinient if all you want to do is to preview it before adding it to your workout. Also it will be great if it has some preset workouts that you can just pick to check out the muscle usage and use it as a reference for your daily training. I asked apply for a refund immediately, and still waiting for feedback :( This is my first app store purchasing experience and I am so disappointed!!

AWESOME

just what i was looking for. THANK YOUUUUUUUU

Crashes all the time

This app works very slowly and crashes all the time. The drag-and-drop process to create a new workout doesnt work, which really slows the process of creating a new workout. Plus, you have to relauch it evey other minute because of the stability problem...

Mr.

App is not compatable with Maviricks update.

Good concept, buggy software

iCloud backup is very buggy and unreliable. This is a good workout app, but I have purchased all versions (iPhone, iPad and Mac) and backing up and restoring workouts and workout progress through iCloud is unreliable, expecially on the Mac version, which can restore workouts from the cloud, BUT CAN NO LONGER BACKUP TO IT SINCE THE LAST UPDATE. So if you modify your workouts on the Mac and then try to push those changes to your other devices, no go…. My advice is use this on ONE device only and forget the sync feature. This is sad as it would have been a very useful feature. Wrote to the support team, hopefully a fix is coming….

Amazing app!

This app is just FANTASTIC! I am a beginner and it’s been a HUGE help! Totally recommend it!

iMuscle 2

I found this program to be very good. I am a voracious exerciser and stretcher. Trigger points, the muscul;ar systems, etc. are a way of life for me as are figuring out when I may not be doing an exercise/stretch properly or when a muscular problems arises. Although i have a massage therapist and physiotherapist, I still want to know all I can about the muscular system, trigger points, etc.. Remembering that no program is perfect for everyone based upon their expectations, I find thsi to be an execllant resource and it has helped me undesratand the proper ways to do ceratin exercises, the available options for exercises, the muscles which may be giving me problems, etc.. It is a greta tool for me and I am hard pressed to find a better one.

not very responsive

your application maybe works good with iPad, but on mac u cannot controll it very well, it is not user-friendly

Usefull app

I like it, but I wish to use it in real 3D

Great App!!!

It is really useful for workout at home.

Decent, but needs lots of work.

Being able to look up exercises by primary and secondary muscles is the best thing about this app. Besides that, it has little else to offer. The workout feature is cubersome to use. Creating workouts is messy; all the workouts are listed in a single list without a way to filter them by muscle group. Also the naming of muscles is not what most people are familiar with. Some excercises have duplicate names, only after you click on them do you find out that one is performed with dumbbells and the other with a barbell, for example. The worst usability complaint for me was entering weights or rep counts for exercises. The menus that appear are too short and move by large amounts fom even the smallest scroll, making it hard to enter values. Ideally, in the desktop version at least, these would be normal entry fields so users can easily input any number. A nice featrure to have would be the ability to filter excercises by equipment, for example to only show dumbbell or cable exercises. Overall, not too bad. If you dont know what excercies you can use to train which muscles, this is a good tool for you. But if you want to track your workouts, dont bother. At least not this version (1.0). After using the workout feature once, went back to my trusty spreadsheet.

Still some interface glitches

Very helpful, but slightly cumbersome. Definitely the best app out there, though. Get a better UX person and this app will be great!

Great content and interface, but problems with the macbook air trackpad.

I think the app has the potential to be great. But as of right now, when I use the trackpad, 3 fingers to rotate the body crashes the app. I must say, its 3 fingers that move to the left; moving them to the right seems fine. Most often I do this inadvertently as Im reading something or watching the video and the whole thing crashes. Its very annoying.

Please continue developing it

Ive used to use a lot of apps from this category, but I like iMuscle the most. I like to see pictures of real muscles. It… helps, motivates! The workout part is also pretty good. Thanks.

Disappointed

I bought this app because I read that it’s the must-affected app in muscle building. However, it has many-repeated workout and it’s so complicated. Ex, your back have to sides wish are the same they shouldn’t put two dots on each side just one on the left or right. Seeing all the blue dots make your head spend. Must of the workout you will be learned in the gym. Inundation, they show no lower-back exercise. I thought I would have my app on my MacBook pro and on my iPhone, when I went to download it on my iPhone it had IPhone edition whish will cost you another 1.99 dollars. Don’t waste your money on this app and if you really want to see what it looks like I recommend that you download the iPhone edition on your iPhone so you will be able to use it while your in the gym. Hope it was helpful, Im Muslim I help people :D
